Our organic Aroma Steamers are our own version of shower steamers -- handmade, aromatherapy squares crafted from certified organic and natural ingredients. When placed in the shower, they slowly dissolve—releasing their therapeutic blend of pure essential oils into the rising steam. It’s like a mini spa sensory experience, right in your own shower.

These aren’t just “scented shower bombs” or "shower fizzies"—they’re a truly natural alternative to synthetic, filler-packed options.

We call them Aroma Steamers because they’re more than just scented novelties—they’re real aromatherapeutic companions for your daily routine. Crafted with intention, they’re designed to offer a sensory escape, emotional support, or even a gentle respiratory boost, depending on the blend.

How do I use a shower steamer?

  1. Place one Aroma Steamer on the shower floor of the shower, just outside the main stream of water.
  2. Let a bit of water splash onto it to begin activation.
  3. Breathe in deeply as the cube begins to fizz, dissolve, and release its aromatic goodness.
  4. Enjoy the moment, inhale, exhale... Then go about your day feeling a little more clear, calm, or uplifted—depending on your blend. The steamers dissolve and rinse cleanly away, so there's no mess to deal with afterward.

Tip: Use a soap dish, silicone pad, or shelf to prolong use by avoiding heavy water flow.

Can I use Shower Steamers in the bath?

Nope—and please don’t. Our Aroma Steamers are made strictly for the shower.

Aroma Steamers contain concentrated essential oils and menthol crystals designed to release into the air—not soak into the skin. They’re too strong for direct contact, especially for sensitive areas. Furthermore, they should not contain any slippery emollients or oils, because they're meant only for the shower and to rinse cleanly away.

Are Shower Steamers safe for kids or during pregnancy?

Our Aroma Steamers are generally safe when used as directed, but:

  • Because they contain menthol and strong essential oils, they’re not recommended for young children or infants.
  • If you're pregnant or nursing, consult your healthcare provider before use—especially blends with eucalyptus, peppermint, rosemary or clove.

They’re made to scent the air—not the skin—so there’s minimal contact. But always better to be safe and informed.

How long does one Aroma Steamer last?

Each steamer typically lasts for at least one full shower (10–20 minutes), depending on placement and water flow.

You can stretch it further by placing it away from heavy water or using it on a dish or stand. Some customers report getting 2–3 uses when they’re careful.

Are they safe for sensitive skin?

Yes—when used properly. Aroma Steamers don’t touch your skin directly, so they’re generally suitable even for sensitive users. That said:

  • Wash your hands after handling, especially before touching your eyes or face.
  • If you’re extremely sensitive to strong aromas, start with a milder blend like Lavender, Ginger Glow or Orangewood in a well-ventilated shower.

Can I make my own shower steamers?

Of course! But here’s the thing: most DIY recipes rely on synthetic surfactants, polysorbate, or preservatives to bind everything together. And they rarely match the scent payoff or quality of a well-formulated steamer. They're also super finicky because they're so sensitive to humidity and moisture. But you can absolutely make your own with simple ingredients.

How should I store them?

Keep them in a cool, dry place, away from humidity. Each steamer comes individually wrapped in a compostable liner to help preserve freshness.
