For Us, Being “Green” isn’t Just a Marketing Gimmick -- It's a Part of Daily Life
With the growing demand for natural, organic and “green” products, a lot of companies have hopped on the bandwagon and adopted a “greener” image. But being “green” is about more than a few empty words in a glossy magazine ad or on fancy packaging.

WoodSprite was born from a passion to make the finest, purest, most complete organic spa and body care products available, while being a leader in a newer, more sustainable business model. For us, being “green” isn’t just an idea, it’s a lifestyle, and for more than 16 years, it’s always been at the very heart of everything we do. Just some of the steps we take on a daily basis…

  • We use Recycled, Recyclable, Reusable and/or Biodegradable Packaging, as well as minimizing excessive or unnecessary packaging whenever possible.
  • We use 100% Post-Consumer Recycled Paper in all of our product labels, as well as invoices and daily printed matter. We also reuse single-sided printed paper before ultimately recycling it.
  • We Reuse and Recycle boxes and packing materials from our incoming supply shipments in our outgoing packages.
  • We use 100% Post Consumer Recycled Toilet Paper, Paper Towels and Napkins (nope, they’re not scratchy).
  • We conserve water by using special high pressure, low-flow trigger faucets in our production area.
  • We light our work spaces with fluorescent and compact fluorescent, low wattage bulbs.
  • We use appliances, computers and business equipment which meet Energy Star standards.
  • We recycle everything we can. In fact, we put out only about one small bag of garbage per month!
  • We compost all food, botanical and biodegradable waste and then use it in our herb gardens.
  • All of our cleaning is accomplished with eco-friendly, biodegradable natural soap, vinegar and baking soda.
  • We have invested in carbon offsets which divert non-renewable energy into wind and solar power.
  • We NEVER test on animals, or use ingredients tested on animals. Instead, we test on happily willing friends and family members.
