Order Policies and Procedures
ORDERING: Ordering from WoodSprite Organic Body is safe and easy! You may place an order over the web via our secure online catalog; Alternately, you may also phone, fax or mail orders. PAYMENT TERMS: All prices are U.S. Dollars. Full payment is due before delivery. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Personal Checks or Money Orders for payment. Personal checks or Money Orders must be made payable to WOODSPRITE. Checks must clear our bank before shipping of orders, so please allow extra time for order fulfillment. No credit card payments are accepted from outside the U.S.A. unless special permission is first obtained. All applicable tariffs, customs or taxes are to be paid by the customer. Please call to place non-U.S. orders.
ORDER FULFILLMENT: Orders are fulfilled in the order in which they are received. Most orders ship the same or next business day (Monday through Friday-excluding weekends and holidays), but please allow up to 3 business days for order processing and shipment. Our 3 Day order processing period does not include time in transit. Shipment transit varies by zone and shipping carrier. RUSH ORDERS may be requested for an additional $15 charge-Please CALL AHEAD to inquire of estimated lead times and rush availability.
BACKORDERS or OUT OF STOCK ITEMS: In cases of Out of Stock items, you will be notified, and the item will be canceled from your order. We do not currently backorder items from our retail catalog.
SHIPPING: All orders ship via United States Postal Service (USPS) or UPS, depending on customer choice at checkout. Shipping charges are determined based on actual weight and volume of packages. Please note: UPS will not deliver to P.O. Boxes--You must choose US Postal Service delivery for orders shipping to P.O. Boxes. Please allow 1-8 business days for typical delivery times to most areas. Any applicable UPS or USPS tracking numbers will be provided by e-mail notification upon shipment of your order.
GIFT ORDERS: We are happy to ship gifts directly to the recipient for you, and we can provide gift wrapping for a small extra charge. We can also include a personalized, complementary note with the gift for no extra charge--simply include your message in the COMMENTS window during checkout, or feel free to contact us with your special message request.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES: UNOPENED and UNUSED goods in *SALEABLE condition may be accepted within 30 days of delivery for return or exchange, with prior approval. We will refund your initial shipping charges for the order but we do not reimburse for the return postage . All returns MUST be accompanied by a Return Authorization Number (RAN)--Please call us for an RAN before attempting returns. Please include with the unopened item(s) ALL Packaging Materials, Order Number, Packing Slip, RAN and Reason for Return. Please be aware that we cannot be responsible for misdirected, lost or damaged returns so it is advised that you insure return packages. For Returns: If you paid for your order by credit card, a refund credit will be issued and should appear on your next billing statement. If you paid by check, a refund check will be mailed to you within 7 days of receipt of return. Exchanges will be honored as Store Credits.
Special Notes: Butter-based products (such as Body Melt, Get Whipped, Baby Bottom Balm, Muscle Mender Massage Balm and Overnight Sensation) are NOT replaceable under our refunds/returns policy, due to their susceptibility to melting in hot weather or climates. We recommend that these products be shipped only during cooler seasons, or that overnight shipping is selected. If you are unsure about a product, please contact us and we will be happy to advise you on this matter.
*"Saleable Condition" is to be
determined and approved by representatives of WoodSprite.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE GOODS: Please
unpack and inspect your package as soon as possible after delivery. Damage
MUST be reported to WoodSprite Organic Body within 48 hours of
delivery. Please retain all packing materials and damaged products for
return or inspection of damaged merchandise. We will arrange for replacement
of damaged product as soon as possible after damage is reported and verified.
Please Note: Because our products are entirely handmade in small batches to ensure freshness, purity and our high standard of quality, there may be some minor variations in appearance/texture/scent from one batch to another. This is typical of products made of natural ingredients and should be expected.
